>I've already said I look at a man's actions and not his campaign rhetoric. It's obvious you believe what Obama promises over his track record therefore I don't think I can add anything.

Well, I don't think him signing someone else's bill that increased taxes by fifteen dollars on someone who makes $42K tells you anything either way.

>Except to ask if you are considering hiring someone, do you look at what they have accomplished and their qualifications or some line of bull they think you will swallow?

I look at their accomplishments and their personal characteristics, but of course, I also look at how they respond to my questions in the interview, of course. Obama's done quite a bit for someone who's only been in national office for a few years, and he's done AMAZINGLY in the interview. Sometimes you hire a candidate on potential. And you certainly don't hire the person who's been around the block and fucked up over and over again.

And that's what we have -- a candidate with a short but solid resume who shined in the interview, vs. someone who has a long but seriously checkered resume and appeared to be a bumbling idiot in the interview.

I know which one I'm going with...
