IMO, Canadian banks except for maybe CIBC are sitting pretty at this point, and I ahve no fear about the dividends so far. For me they are long term accumulators in my RSP into which I plop in a bit more money every year when it looks like the right moment and reinvest all my dividends.

BMO and TD are my choices among the Canadian banks, and I have been accumulating POW and MFC for years in a similar manner.

I agree with LC but I'd take BMO and NA..
