Ruffian,

"If U need a poll to tell U which way the wind is blowing and has been, so be it........"

I would agree with you that on the surface things LOOK as you say. Between the medias full assault on molding the public's perception and the right's frustration with the McCain campaign, it's easy to loose faith. Everyday the stories keep piling up: there's a super majority coming to Washington; they're already planning a huge bash after the election; O is up double digits in some polls; bookies are paying off bets EARLY because it's over......... Sure it just might be over, but come on, bookies paying off bets early! When I look at what's going on now, I instinctually follow the lessons I've learned as a trader. When everything looks and sounds the rosiest that is usually the time to fade the crowd. Imo, it makes sense that the media is painting this rosy scenario right now , they're the group with a vested interest in only one candidate winning. Why do you think the media has gone after Joe the plumber the way they have. If the election is a foregone conclusion why the panic? Did you notice O lately making it a point to complain about Fox news. What does it say about a man who has the entire main street media in his corner but yet complains about the "unfair criticism" from one network. Do you think the avg American notices these things, even on a subconscious level? I believe they do.

So yes, you might be right. This election could very well be over. But, remember the market sentiment from six months ago and look at where we are today. Things are seldom as they seem. Time will tell.

SO
