David, I don't see what the big deal is over pointing out that the media is liberal. They have been and always will be. That's just the nature of most journalists.

I do expect a level of professionalism, honesty, and balance in their coverage, though. It's never going to be perfect, but it seems the quality of coverage coming from the mainstream media is declining. And part of that is showing in the bias that they don't even bother hiding anymore.

My guess is that they're forced to favor quantity over quality. Plus they're faced with ever-tightening deadlines. Welcome to the new mainstream media in the age of the Internet.

Two months ago, liberals were making a big noise about the AP being too rightwing; that the new head of the WA bureau office favored the Republican party. Not surprising.......the media has gotten caught in the crosshairs of the ~ism warfare in this country. And of course, its the Republicans who started this negative crap about the media. So why don't you stop trying to blame the media for your problems and start looking at what you all are doing wrong. You might learn something constructive.
