McCain's great sense of humor was famous prior to this campaign. His entire speech at the annual Al Smith dinner in NYC is available on youtube.com in two parts. John delivers the lines with a dry-as-toast tone. For instance, at one point he said "I'm sure even among this room full of traditional Democrats there are many who will vote for me"..pause...looks to his right and says "good to see you could make it Hillary." She almost fell from her chair with laughter. Slight surprise was the loud applause McCain received when he referred to winning many of their votes--it was obvious that statement was indeed true. P.S. McCain used the opportunity to lambast the media--especially MSNBC and Keith Olbermann.
