There has been enough history now that people should know better than to continue to pursue redistribution ideology.

That is exactly what I though McCain should have been hammering Obama on. I was literally screaming at the screen every time he didn't follow through and point that out. IMO redistribution of wealth to individuals through the gov't is basically anti-American.....

Obama has lived his adult life in an academic/Hyde Park/state house bubble, where socialism remains a highly attractive option. Why shouldn't it be, when you are one of the apparatchiks?
