But he's a huge part of the mainstream media. What's his audience?

I don't think anyone in this country has, or should have, a problem with commentators such a Rush or Alan Colmes or Rachel Maddow (on the radio), etc. I cannot STAND Maddow, but I also recognize her right to say what she wants to say.

Where it becomes a problem is when the reporters, themselves, have a liberal agenda (e.g., Campbell Brown, David Schuster, Brokaw, Brian Williams, and literally 100s of others), where the news organization has a liberal agenda (CBS, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, NYT, WAPO, etc.) AND where commentators are dressed up to look like reporters (e.g., Keith Olbermann).

I have no problem with commentators, liberal or conservative. Just as you listen to Rush's show, I often listen to AAR on XM. But I can tell you, not one other commentator can hold a candle to Limbaugh. Period, end of story. It isn't even close.
