The audience for 'commentators' is probably a lot bigger than the audience for network news shows. And the 'commentators' are primarily right. The 'mainstream media' is no longer mainstream, they are a minority... even Rush admits they are dead in the water. So let's call it the 'majority media', what the majority of people watch or listen to... and the rabid right has a big lead in the 'majority media'. So, you would not distinguish between the responsibilities of commentators versus that of media figures. That figures. Persons who are easily influenced by propaganda (that's you) tend not to realize just how consequential that influence is. Weak-minded individuals (that's you) get sucked in by propaganda, don't think for themselves, and cannot even discern that they're being controlled by the propaganda stream. BTW Oberman is in no way sold as a news program. Bullshit.
