"Don't be ridiculous.......the price of gas ain't coming down because of some proposed and tentative drilling in the future. "

Well, Bush didn't blink so gasoline prices didn't have a chance....

Just a grand coincidence the end of the ban coincided with the peak in prices.

In fact, there are a vast number of things that affect prices. Assessments of future supply is quite important and the end of the ban, long in advance of any drilling, is a thing that affect future supply.

Reminds me of when Reagan deregulated natural gas prices and the price of natural gas collapsed.

What reminds you of Reagan and how he screwed up the country?

Whipping stagflation, ending the energy crisis, rebuilding American strength, winning the cold war. All bad things for liberals.

Thats the kind of remark btw which shows any claims you've made to be something other than a long term died in the wool deeply committed liberal are false. Thanks for that.
