Off Topic--This post completely OFF TOPIC to disk drive heads.
First, thanks to everyone for the advice on my PC crashing.
Second, Doug, I've got a desktop pentium PC from Gateway, and it only runs scandisk if I select the program manually.
Third, Gottfried, the crashes appear to have little to do with using or not using the FILE\EXIT. To keep my reasoning simple, I used to use the File\Exit when I used a local ISP for the internet, and my PC crashed. Now I use Prodigy, and I can use File\Exit, or a 'Disconnect'
icon that is part of the Prodigy interface, and the PC still crashes sometimes.

Disconnecting from the internet isn't the only times my PC crashes, it's just the most frequent cause.

But like Mark Oliver points out, this has little to do with making money on disk drive stocks. Can anyone suggest a hot stock so I can get a better PC? (Just kidding)

Again, Chuck, GM, and Doug, I want to thank you guys for your comments.
