That's a whole other story. Obviously you have experience with fixing properties, hiring subs etc.

Besides that, you are correct. A lot of these licensing procedures are "pulling up the ladder" techniques.

I agree with that, (except for the false sense of security part - you know they're insured or at least bonded. ) but see nothing wrong with it. If investment bankers want to do their own plumbing, no one's stopping them.
