I wasn't aware of McCain's poor performance in the academy. I believe that the Republican party has purposefully selected inappropriate candidates as they do not want to be leading the country for the next for years or eight. Can't really blame them. MP

If that were only true we wouldn't have been so screwed by Paulson, Cox, Bernanke, Greenspan and the rest of the crooks in DC. Morality is more important than intelligence, IMO. Not that I see much in any candidate for president though.

Trivia question: Where'd Abraham Lincoln graduate from? answer: did not attend college. (probably couldn't get into Harvard, let alone afford it, the dog)
