This is during the campaign, Ten. Obama is a practical guy, and once in office, he'll be cutting much more. He has to get elected first.

I like how you say you don't believe what politicians say, then hold them to what they say! Very logical..

My hope is he'll gut the DoD, the most uselessly bloated part of our government.

There is no freakin' way on Earth that we're going to get out of this mess by increasing taxes on only the richest 5% of Americans. Not without some deep spending cuts (which is what I'd prefer, but that's not going to happen).
