How could ANYONE have a good idea how low it's going? To do that one would need to know the full economic impact of the credit market lockup, and we can't even begin to know that until the credit markets loosen and stabilize, which is probably 1-2 months away?

The only thing we can be certain of is that it won't be hitting last summer's levels anytime soon. Now that the IB's have become banks they can't be using so much leverage to try and manipulate commodity markets. It was VERY obvious last summer that someone was trying to manipulate prices, and often succeeding, in the final hour of trading on many days.

It is nice that oil is going lower. At least it helps our situation. Not too good for OPEC countries who have gotten spoiled.
