It has nothing to do with racism. Anybody that stands up to Obama will be trashed a la Joe the Plumber. So keeping a low profile is the only sensible path for McCain supporters.


The Bradley effect never had to do with racism. It was always all about political correctness. If you didn't feel under pressure to 'prove' something by supporting the black candidate, why on earth should you lie about whom you support?
