Joe the American had plans to hire more workers after buying his employer's plumbing business. Therefore, Obama not only discouraged Joe from purchasing the business, but eliminated those new jobs as well. The economic pie is not a static size that prevents everyone from earning their piece---rather, it grows and affords more and more productive Americans to earn their piece of the ever expanding pie.
