We found out, when gas went over $4 this year, that things do have a "tipping point." What point does is take for people to take a hike to Galt's Gulch?

yeah, and diesel went to $5....i'm sure edmund, with over 100 employees had a fleet of vehicles using diesel as well...btw, reg here is still $3.49/gal....i have a turbo and use premium and its $3.89....the most i paid was $4.25....so still not cheap

i've heard the 'what's the use' lament from many business owners in the last 6 months....i think most aren't totally prepared for earlier retirement and have decided that they need to hang in and try to slog it out, but if taxes go up, even as oil prices are abated, they are not making any headway, just breaking even (or worse)

i felt edmund wright's editorial was of much greater significance that warren buffets "buy american. i am.' piece...

edmund wright is much more the face of american business than is buffet
