Zero chance? No, but there isn't a zero chance that the United States might be destroyed by a mega volcano, or comet strike, or nuclear war in the near future.

The chance of an economy rivaling the great depression (of course different, nothing exactly duplicates) is far more likely than the above events. And far more likely right now than at any time in my almost 60 years.

30%+ unemployment is not some impossible number. It could happen.
