SHENZHEN, China — Huawei Technologies Co Ltd. ("Huawei"), a leader in providing next generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, today announced the successful development of its 100 Gigabit Ethernet (GE) prototype. This represents another breakthrough for Huawei following the company' s launch of a 100G wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM) prototype in July this year, makes Huawei the first in the industry to master 100GE and 100G end-to-end transport technologies.
