You experience in this area was your experience. It was obviously different from mine. FWIW, I worked in failed attempts to create meaningful regulation of appraisal and mortgage services in 1990, and with legislators and lobbyists in Sacramento and Washington, D.C. Remember Congressman Barnard of Georgia who headed the House investigations into the causes of the S&L debacle? I knew him, and I knew people who testified before congress on this subject. What are your credentials for calling what I say "Hogwash"?
