Hello Freeus, "Why is Jan the most important month for tech stocks"? January is when many rearrange their stock holdings and or take profits. Or they're stuck indoors because of the weather and have cabin fever, they have the post holidays blues, they're fed-up with the family, are bummed because their NFL team didn't make the playoffs, there's no more Monday night football, they didn't get what they wanted for Christmas, are afraid to show their face due to the way they acted on New Years eve and are desperate about where they'll get the money to pay off the Christmas debt they charged on the credit cards. SO they turn to the stocks! If you want I could elaborate! <GG> "Do they go up or down?" YES! "Is that a hint as to what we should be doing in December??????????" Yes, you should go home for Christmas. "on second thought didnt I read a warning at the front that we are not to take SI words as anything but entertainment?" Hope your amused and having fun! <GG> "What is it with 3com? The market goes up it goes down!" Today is 3com stock holders turn in the barrel, hopefully tomorrow is better! "Can we invoke some fairness act or something?" This is as fair as it gets...besides would it be fair to enforce a rule like that.
