I'd vote for Joe the Plumber to replace ol' Gap-Tooth in a New York Minute.....

Joe would get Paul Schaeffer to play more Springsteen & Lee Greenwood tunes, without all the goofy-arse, pencil-banging accompaniment....

:-)

She was definitely defending Joe the plumber. Her point is that there are a huge amount of often conflicting rules and regulations at the local, county, state and federal levels. In fact there are so many rules and regulations that it is essentially impossible not to be in violation of multiple rules and regulations at multiple levels. All of us live in violation.

The only thing that keeps it manageable is that they are laxly or not enforced.

But irritate bureaucrat or bother the leftist powers that be they can always find a bunch of violations to ruin your life.
