I hardly find that endorsement convincing.

It’s hard to imagine a more stunning endorsement than this one. Again, it is Obama’s hometown paper. But that hasn’t swayed the Tribune before.

How many hometown candidates has the Tribune had before? None of the ones listed were from Chicago, that I know of.

Simple eloquence counts for nothing. It's the substance behind the eloquence that counts.

Hell, if eloquence were all that mattered, I'd vote for Obama too, but I see through it.

It's a pity that half the population can't do that. I attribute that to the utter failure of our educational system to teach people to think for themselves.

Obama people obviously realize their candidate can't handle challenging questions. If they had confidence in their candidate they wouldn't feel so threatened by ordinary folks who ask questions.
