Although it isn't widely recognized, McCain has a distinct ability to capture people's attention. He did it with his selection of Sarah Palin and he did it again in the debate with Joe the Plumber. He knocked the ball out of the park both times and both times the press has descended like wolves. The analogy of how wolves hunt is also the perfect description of how the press operates. * * *

To many of us, the fact that THEY are the ones who are trying to appear as the "elite" but in fact, many of the rest of us "ordinary people" view them as wantabe snobs with no reason to be snobby.... (I mean really, look at the escapades of Hollywood and yes, probably in some of DC, SFO, and NY as well as Chicago, falling into and out of each others bed, drugs at all parties, check to see who their heroes are....Chompsky, Soros, Lib Ivy League college professors, Gore, Kerry, Kennedy, all the Leftist artists, actors, writers, etc.....ad nauseam) Let's hope Joe and those Americans like the rest of us just keep talking. Obama wants to take the American Dream away from us, and leave us as shells that are dependent upon the State. -- with the Palin feeding frenzy and Bittergate, it convinces ordinary voters that the Democrats are vicious snobs. -- voters may begin to suspect that Obama is fixated on wealth re-distribution. -- the Democrats have attacked an everyman and prolonged a dangerous storyline. The only question remaining: will they keep it up? McCain couldn’t be that lucky, could he? Think of the film of Obama's photo op on Joe's street as Obama's macaca moment.

vicious snobs This description is so right on. I've been wanting to say it, but thought it was rather crass. It describes to a tea a few libs I know and fits the suspicious few who have pat, elitist answers......when they choose to engage that is. IF The One becomes president, and IF some of the impossible laws dems want to enact become reality, our jails will be full of ordinary Americans that become subversives. Then the only question will be.......how long will average Americans tolerate this intolerance?
