The Wright stuff broke out much earlier; we can debate the merits of what Hillary did in hindsight but the important thing is that both the party and most Hillary voters have moved behind Obama now.

If the polls are similar to today on November 1, we could be on the verge of a major realignment election. I just skimmed one of the rightwing threads, and debate about why McCain is losing independents is totally absent. Almost surreal in a way, given the events of the last few weeks.
