I am long miners, but my friend and I are trying to figure out the reason to hold them. What's the reason you continue to hold or held through the whole shellacking we just had?

So, you don't think the collapse in HUI is presaging a drop in gold? A support TL just failed, and I could easily see it going to $600 if the correction continues. Perhaps the catalyst would be those with gold exposure deciding to shift the exposure from the metal over to the producers. With the stunning weakness in gold stocks, I'm tempted to short GLD. `BC
