He's right. Pennsylvania is out of play, as are Wisconsin, New Mexico, New Hampshire, Minnesota, Maine, Virginia, Colorado, and Iowa.

NM (5) VA (13) "leaning" Obama.

I am not as confident about VA amd CO. These are new states to the Dem column and I think they still could go the other way.
