Yes, we might get a nice surprise. This is the only thread that I contribute to. I lurk on a couple of threads, where I have intimate knowledge of what is going on inside the companies that are discussed, and because of that knowledge I cannot trade them. I can tell you the guys posting have no idea what is coming. Only to-day
I was lurking on a thread where the posters have not been able to figure out why the stock has been going down. To be truthful I did not
know either, but I did know that the company was going to report a BLOWOUT quarter, which in fact they did after the close to-day.
Their stock is going to fly to-morrow. I lurk on another thread where I sometimes feel like stepping in and helping the poor suckers out, but I can't. The point I am trying to make is that none of us really know what is coming to-morrow except a very small bunch of people, who probably lurk on this thread and they are not going to say anything.
I have stated a number of times that the stated goal of QDEL is 20% -25% growth. I was just reading the proxy statement for the last AGM
and noted that management did not meet their goals last year and consequently did not get their bonuses. They are probably under some
pressure to perform this year. I have watched QDEL closely for a week
and have not been perturbed by the stock action. If you wanted out,
you got 4 5/8,if you bought you paid 4 3/4, except in a couple of cases. To-day, the stock looked weaker. But so did the stock that I
stated earlier reported a blow-out quarter. They were down over a $1
at the close, but to-morrow they are going to get it back with a vengeance. I HOPE QUIDEL GIVES US ALL A PLEASANT SURPRISE.
