I was baffled by Powell's endorsement. It came across to me as a piece of treachery, and I wondered whether quid pro quo had anything to do with it. If not, then WHY did Powell wait until the eleventh hour to come out with his endorsement. It seems dishonest, to say the least.

I heard his reasons for endorsing Obama, and none of them made any sense. He seems to have forgotten that HE was the one at the UN showing the world the vials of wmd components and making the case for getting in to the Iraq war, etc.
