Small businesses in the US create more than half the new jobs. Your brother would be wise to continue with his business plan for now. If the worst happens for the US, and BO is elected, business people should not do anything rash because Dems may be unable to get their liberal tax policy approved. Some of the congressional Democrats may see the light of reason prior to passage of such a damaging tax policy. If business owners cut back prematurely, they may be sacrificing market share unnecessarily and their competitors would have the advantage. In other words, they should cross the bridge IF they come to it - keep in mind polls are tightening now that voters realize Obama's true intentions.
