I do not buy the idea that it has anything to do with Supreme Court appointments. I do not believe he thinks Obama is as qualified for the office as McCain, as that is blatantly obvious.

Dude, you need to listen to what he said both during and after the endorsement. He all but said McCain is not as qualified to be president as Obama. You need to stop rewriting history in your head. It gets you into trouble.

Mad Magazine did an article like this in the 1960s on how politicians can smear each other with plausible deniability.

You missed my favorite, though.
