Because he's doesn't understand why gold's not going his way.

OTOH, I think gold stocks are acting as they should in a market downdraft with perceived recessionary overtones.

I don't think there is any reason for gold stocks to thrive in the environment of a market crash, gold stocks stink to high heaven for the most part, you can't trust them farther than you can spit, a haven for liars, con men, charlatans and thieves.

In a flight to safety, anyone who thinks gold miner stocks represent safety is an idiot.

Though at the moment the stars have aligned so as to permit some of them to turn a profit, and the shares have taken a much worse beating than the metal.
