Barrack is going to do an outstanding job protecting American interests.

How do you know? What has he ever done to show you that? Fancy talk? Political promises which he hasn't kept before?

If he wins and raises taxes on businesses, then I plan to fire many people to pay for those increased taxes, can you explain how that will create jobs? I find it laughable... I run a business for profit, not a welfare agency... obama has no clue about anything, he has never accomplished anything, he has never even managed a candy store, but now he talks like the candy man himself, i.e., free money, free houses, free beer... the last President we had with no experience was jimmy carter, the guy who gave us 25% inflation, remember him? So, tell me, how does firing people to pay for a tax increase create jobs? Kindly explain... TIA

Elroy,

I think candidate O and this election represents a classic study of human psychology on so many levels - from the candidate himself to the masses that follow him. That's why I think it's best to take a step back and not get caught up in the hysteria of the crowd. They're are many on the left that see Obama as their next savior, the man that will fix all the wrongs of the last eight yrs, its a role btw, that Barack has embraced with all his lofty promises "we are the people we've been waiting for"; "I will change the world." Comments that are more than ambitious. What does it say about a man that promises so many things while at the same time has nothing in his personal history that indicates his willingness to wage such battles. It seems to me that the world has offered Obama many a opportunity to wage that war, but honestly I just don't see it. Unless he means he has to be president first before great things can happen. When I combine this with his fragmented early years and a history of poor judgement i.e., associations, I find the stock Obama a tough one to buy. But I will admit there is a mania around him. But ask yourself how do most manias end? Remember, the late 90's all those internet stocks with no earnings, or what about our current credit bubble. The crowd always fills in the blanks on the way up justifying the prices. According to the media the race is a foregone conclusion. I read the other day that bookies were paying off bets early because the race was over. Pelosi and Reid are already managing like they have their super majority. Trust me when I say it that the psychology of this race is no different than Nasdaq when it was trading at 5,000. The setup is there for a Nov surprise. Time will tell. I could be wrong. Enough people, in their desire to run from Bush, just might push O over the finish line. But either way I think Obama himself has laid a shaky foundation for a future administration. When the "crowd" changes and they realize their lives are no better (perhaps even worse) there will be many that will remind O of his overreaching promises.
