:-) I thought what was interesting was what people said about McCain making the choice to turn away from the man he was in 2000. I went back and looked at some of the things he said then- and boy, was he NOT a candidate for the red meat base. I feel sorry for him. He's lost his way- if his way was who he used to be. I think Powell could easily have supported the candidate of the 2000 election, but it's clear that this new McCain, and the old one, aren't the same guy. I'm glad your mom in law thought Powell had presented things logically. I thought he had, but I like Obama, so I'm not objective at all.
