Obama will destroy this country in his first term, and the Democrats, through power-grabbing techniques that could never have been envisioned by the founding fathers, will be employed to insure the Left stays in power until the country has totally collapsed. Long term, I think we'll survive. Our military is mostly conservative, they won't let our country be defeated by our enemies, foreign and domestic. Why do you think Obama is calling for his brown shirts "civilian national security force, just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."? Knowing limousine liberals are too chickenshit to fight their own battles and would run at the first sign of blood, Obama's vision of his loyal brown shirt force will never happen, even with a draft.
