You should look to your own candidate's associations then, if you are so into the smear by association game. McCain has more than his fair share of skeletons in his closet.

Character and judgment are issues. The most important ones. You're absolutely right.

Obama will lie about issues so his "position" on them is meaningless - just look at clean coal, as an example appropriate for this thread - officially he's "for" it, in reality, his VP candidate was caught telling the truth, "We're not for clean coal! .. No more coal plants in America."
