There are folksy people who just like to tell stories, and I don't think they think they are lying. They're just trying to be interesting. But you don't really want your elected officials to be too "interesting". You want them to be competent, and honest- and I think Sarah is probably neither of those things. I'm sure she'd LIKE to be those things, but I don't think she is really equipped to be. In other words, I don't think she is scheming or malicious, I think her faults are just part of who she is.
