They do have some nice restaurants. We looked at the menus posted outside several of them as we walked by. Ran into a couple from the Tri Cities in a specialty cheese shop. They came up on Fri and were staying the weekend. One of the things I like about Leavenworth is the fact that it is a resort town, and has lots of specialty shops. I lived in a resort town in the 70s and just loved it. I bought some home made Bockwurst and sauerkraut.....am going to cook it tomorrow night. We also drove (quickly) through Plain........what a neat place. Very beautiful! Going to go back and really check it out when we get the chance.
