Hi Nemer Yeah us horsey boys know a thing or 2 bout' bettin' the nags all right<g> Now your talking MY language pal... Wet fast rail??? You've been there and done that guy!!!! So have I :>} They wouldn't know what the hell we're talking about...he he he As for the crap table.. Lets set THE RECORD straight here and now!!! First of all, all Big 6 & 8's are suckers bets just like the hardways and the field.. Everybody got that...!!!!!!! The safest bet is $25 on the pass line, you come out with a 8, that's your #... You place a back line bet of double your front line so $50, you get the best odds on the back line BEHIND YOUR FRONT LINE BET!!! Then you place the INSIDE, 5-6-9 a Quarter each, got it so far??? You can either press it up once and then take down, or same bet each time you make the number... The second way is the same on the Pass line, and back line, but then you make a Quarter come bet... You do this 3 times and then take the odds on each come bet... Conservative, safe(as safe as it can be), and hope for a good roll. EVERYTHING ELSE IS PURE HORSESHIT!!!! Speaking of horsey's Nemer, i'm going to Miami, next Thurs and I'll get a chance to see my 2 yr old in training, he'll be breezing a half Sat morning the 1st of NOv at Calder.. I can't wait!!!<VBG>> Ah my friend, you've been around the block some... Both dogs and horses have the same bias based on the tracks surface.. father time- <Easiest of all is go to the race book---sit down, be comfortable, and not be bumped around by the crowd.> uhhh sweetie...THAT is what I like about craps ;-) being bumped around by all those ole' foggies that believe the pass line bet is the best bet and all others are horse hockey!!!! and dont even know how or why to press the house on the vig...and depending on my mood...I love to dance around and yell for a 7 when playing the dont...boy do those ole' foggies with 50 on the pass line and 100 on the odds, give me the evil eye. In the bahamas I had a big gambler beside me...betting 500 and many times more at a pop. I kept playing the dont and doing my "Seven hoo doo vodoo snap" and getting the 7..and he finally just put 50 on the pass line for me and said "shut the hell up and quit doing that dance so I can make me some money". or those ole' foggies that look at me like I dont know what I am doing when I have a dont bet and the point is a 10 and I buy a 10...HELLO...HELLO I either break even or double my money!!!!! (and just like I dont lay a ten...I dont do this with a 4..now why not..because the odds are the same you know...that is part of the SUPERSTITION of craps players...like when I am rolling the dice and they fly off the table..as they do more than 1/2 the time when I am rolling...people YELL "SAME DICE"....I dont even care but I yell it anyway) of course I am The QUEEN at going up to someone and asking if I can play their odds. Now THAT is the best bet!!!!! and I like to saddle up to those young guys who come to the table and dont know what they are doing...they are always my target for pirating the odds bet!!!!...and here I bet they thought I was trying to pick them up ROFLMAO. CaT Babe, the odds runner.....
