I don't know what Obama's trade policies are in total right now, I only know his position papers and the like.

But we US citizens need a SERIOUS reevaluation of trade policy. We have offshored whole industries away as well as the jobs that go with them. Now we are creating 1/5 the jobs we did in the last decade. We have not created enough jobs to keep up with population growth in this entire decade.

Free trade was supposed to make the US wealthier. The actual result is that it is making the world wealthier - mostly the very rich at the top- and the US middle and lower classes are poorer.

Let Canada and EU trade away. We have the largest trade deficit in the world, they don't.
