McCain's only viable route is to recreate Bush's 2004 map by turning out his base as much as possible, then trying to scare enough independents at the last minute to squeak by.

He might still get OH and FL that way but his problem is the gaping holes in IA, CO, NM, VA and so on. He's bleeding from too many different places to patch it all up unless some major new theme or event intercedes in the next two weeks.
