Scary. I don't understand why the dollar continues to go up, and I cannot stop thinking if there is something that Bernanke knows, that we don't and this forum hasn't told, yet?

Dollar is going up because,like our IBanks, it is too big to fail.

There is a s***storm happening globally, so IMO the thinking is that the Asians who hold so much of our paper cannot afford to let go of it for fear of causing a calamity. Assuming that to be the case, flight to safety to the clownbuck makes sense.

as a starter, I went short the $ index today. I got 83.50 and 83.60 and we "must be within 2% of the $ top"...

of course if the UFB heads towards 90 I probably give it up. Small problem, with the pressure buildup and $ redemptions of hedgefunds a nasty spike is always possible,
