It should teach us that the real battle is not between democrats and republicans. It's between Washington insiders and outsiders. The east coast media has made that abundantly clear with their treatment of Palin.

FWIW Michael Powell is long gone from the FCC. He announced his resignation from FCC on January 21, 2005 money.cnn.com Powell, 43, is currently a Senior Advisor of Providence Equity Partners and Chairman of the MK Powell Group. Powell is a member of the Board of Directors of Cisco, the Board of Trustees of the RAND Corporation and the Aspen Institute. Additionally, he serves on the Boards of ObjectVideo and CMWare, Inc. He also currently serves as Rector of the Board of Visitors of the College of William and Mary.
