Yesterday, I went to a rally for McCain a few towns over. It was small, the featured speaker was Colonel Orson Swindle. He gave a good talk. He clearly knows McCain as he was a POW 6.5 years with McCain for his 5 plus years. pics at toms.homeip.net I don't know that Powell for all the supposed accolades ever really did do anything spectacular. Even in the first Iraq war he was in charge, but brought a mega massive Army that basically could not fail. As to the WMD, like all in charge, he has to take the word of those who were supposed to know. The CIA was led by a guy who was proven to be full of feces. But the choice of supporting is a compelling idiot identification event.
