Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine was just on TV saying that VA had 500,000 newly registered voters, a 10% increase in the 5 million registered before, most had been signed up by the Obama campaign and most likely to go for vote for him as their first vote ever.

That right there could tip the balance even more in Obama's favor.

Chuck Todd has said on several occasions that he liked the "registered voter" sampling best bet. He claims that has worked best in past presidential elections.

Until I see some serious argument against it, I prefer the "expanded model."
