Elroy.....looking for confirmation on....."Chevron owns 50% of Cobasys (the maker of batteries for the GM Volt) and, after years of losing money, has offered their share to GM at a large discount."....is there a press release or article somewhere? TIA

GM hasn't chosen which battery they will use. The MIT spinoff A123 should win by merit of power density and charge time, but there are other factors when building a car, like safety, longevity.
