Might be tricky to get the same results in the US for arranged marriages, since Indian mothers tend to have much closer relations with their sons than most US mothers, and thus have a much better sense of their son's preferences. US children seem to have more alienation, at least until their mid 20s. Somebody will do a much more scientific version of eHarmony (A successful US based dating with the intention of marriage website with some modest empirical basis for matching people) an make a ton of money.
