You want to be informed about what Obama would do in the case of some unspecified attack at some unspecified time in the future?

Nobody on any of your other threads, nor anyone here, could possibly know the answer to your question. They may speculate, but they have no way of knowing. Such speculation, since it wouldn't be founded on any personal knowledge of Obama's mind, wouldn't be worth much. That would include any speculation I might do, which is why I don't see the point of indulging in it.

The only person who could even come close to answering that question would be Barack Obama.

MM, let's assume you are serious, I suspect the first thing Obama would do is strive to avoid GWB's biggest mistake after 9-11 which was to alienate a sympathetic world. So I assume, whatever response he took, it would be to work with as many other countries as possible. Whether via the UN, NATO, or some other forum. The language of "for us or against us," would disappear.

My guess is he would also work to avoid Bush's second big mistake which was to use the tragedy to divide the country--the language of for us or against us on the domestic side would disappear as well.
