I wouldn't say Iraq was picked at random.

Despite being completely unrelated to 9/11 or the Taleban, indeed. On plainly spurious grounds, absolutely. Because it's sat on the world's second-largest oil reserves... well, that's merely a lucky coincidence.

But never at random.

Although if it really was, I suppose we're fortunate the dart didn't miss by a bit and land on India. Or Russia.
