Here in NC where it is 50/50 on the vote when I hear interviews the big issue is VALUES. Now you have to realize that NC is a great religious state. The Southern Baptists are really in force here. There are few liberals... or even Democrats. In Al Anon I learned how much religions mean in the healing process of those who have alcoholism in their family. Everything is offered up to God to solve. It really makes me become very quiet on what I express as once I talked about personal responsibility and it was poo pooed.. I even suggested leaving the situation if possible in which the alcoholic is ruining a life of another. That did not go over either. I think Resignation is the word there.
